Piney Lake

I am back, after a couple days in the wilderness then a week without internet and then almost a week of moving to my new place (by myself that is, believe it or not)

This first photo is from Piney Lake just outside the Eagles Nest Wilderness, taken on one of the two nights I spent in the wilderness, upcoming photos will come from the wilderness itself, found on a 16 mile rough drive north of Vail, Colorado, the lake is home to a lodge but the wilderness is just past the lake and it’s strange, there can be tons of people at the lake but the moment you hit the wilderness the people dramatically drop off, I guess people are scared to hike a hundred yards into a wilderness, but that is okay, I love it
