an semi professional photographer of Colorado trying to make it a full time living. I have been doing photography as a hobby for about 10 years now and seriously for about 2 years. have been published in a couple of things mostly internet publication. I have also had a couple gallery showings and I have worked part time for 9 news as a photojournalist. I also have started my own business doing weddings and portraits.
I currently am working very diligently at opening my own gallery, It is tentatively going to be located at Denver’s second art district at 44th and Tennyson. The area is a large participant in Denver’s hugely popular First Fridays art walk, an event that occurs every first Friday of each month, many of Denver’s galleries participate and tens of thousands of people attend it.
I do mostly landscape and have my own unique style and vision of Colorado, none of my photos are edited in any way and are straight from the camera as I believe it should be to be a photographer. Capture it as you see it. Lately though I have been experimenting with processing of my photos, and even doing an occasional HDR
In the last 2 years I have taken over 20,000 photos both digital and film, and these photos posted are a result of all that picture taking. Though the majority of my photos are taken with my digital camera (best to save money on developing of film) My preference is still in film and all my best works are done with film. All my film shots though are limited edition and only a couple appear on this site and are sold only as cards. I have started using large format 4X5 film (the absolutely positively best for landscape, well best next to the 8X10)
