Artist's Description

In the distance are fellow travellers.
Here we have left formed tracks and are making our way by GPS across this harsh gibber plain on the edge of the remote part of the Simpson Desert.
We are heading for the Madigan Line, that will point us east to travel across the most remote part of the Simpson Desert.
The surface in the hot sun had a paved shiny character…seemed like tar. Gibber is the aboriginal word for stone of throwing size.
