A rework of previous image.
Looks good, Joe.
Thanks Jan,Just added it to the Ace submission thread…seeing the image progress over 3 versions is very satisfying.

you have captured an amazing sight, and one so symbolic and powerful in our australian landscape….there’s that tank and windmill waiting in the midst of a very dry land, and the fleeting rainstorm passing by in the distance………
Thanks Wendy,A few Ozi icons together in one shot…:-)…I’m rather pleased about it:-)
This looks much deeper and richer in tones Joe…excellent re-work!! *-)
Thanks debs,Gave it a bit more contrast to the sky and toned the original grey sky to blend better with warm tone of dry grass..thanks for noticing:-)
Greats hot Joe. Looks like they would be very happy with a bit of that wet stuff.
I have maybe a couple of shots in which the light, the sky and my fumbling with the camera’s doodads all turned out right. The scenes themselves might not bring the house down, but they’re RIGHT. Nothing to compare with this and your others, of course, but I might just upload those babies anyhow!!!!!!!!! GORGEOUS sky, gorgeous atmospheric conditions … love the windmill!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!
Going for drives in lousy weather is very rewarding…with boots, umberallas and plastice bags for cameras…don’t forget tissues:-))lol
congratulations on your ACE
