Small boats moored at Werribee South beach,I liked how the low afternoon sun highlighted the red canvas canopy on the boat.

Hey Joe, you’re poachin MY area now! I have been here looking for photo opportunities several times and came away with nothing. Congratulations!
Hi Neil,My daughter lives at Werribee near the race track.Spent a bit of time here one day and your right it is really hard to make images work at this beach spot. There is a great looking rustic and very photogenic little old boat there, but just could not get an image that worked. Thanks for commenting
I live in Point Cook, all of my beach shots are taken at the local beaches, both Werribee South and Campbell’s Cove.
I’ve found some lovely photo opportunities at both places, except I don’t have the experience to make the shots work most of the time. The ones that I have in my portfolio are the best I think. Still I think I’m improving over time.
Thanks for adding me to your watchlist by the way!
Hi Charlotte,Good to hear from you and thanks for telling me about Campbell’s Cove as I was not aware of it…gives me another excuss to head out and photograph:-)
Best way to improve is keep shooting and getting critiques on one of the forums,eg Passion for Pixels the feed back given constanty improves ones skills.Cheers
such gorgeous light, the reflections off the water and the colour coming through the canopy really show the best the afternoon can offer
Hi Joe,I’m a werribee local also, always a struggle, whenever i don’t have my camera there are the most spectacular sunsets down at werribee south, last night for example with the lightening.Good Capture :)
Thanks for reminding me wilson, might just have to pop back more often:-)
