Sand Hill, Simpson Desert,N.T. by

Wind formed patterns in the heart of the Simpson Desert on top of a red sandhill. Sand hills can run a length of over 200kms and around 1100 are spaced half a km apart from west to east across the Simpson Desert. In between these 25 meter high
sand hills is a spinifex covered valley. We have crossed every sandhil travelling west to east.
