I have posted previously that the matted print retailing at $49 has been a good seller for me.(before redbubble introduced the matted print I arranged matte, print, packaging) Also a fellow photographer who ran a gallery on the coast acknowledged that his bread and butter line was a matted image for $50.…
I beleive this gift idea can go one step furtherby… Include a card of the same image.
So you provide a gift pack… the matted image of someones favorite holiday spot, and your customer need not look elswhere for a card, in fact the receipeint receives a personal message from the gift giver with the card being the same image that initiated the interest to purchase.

Got a nice suprise to learn recently that I have been nominated by a local political party branch for my contribution to the community of capturing the Australian landscape. So that put’s me in the running with others and the successful nominee is recognised with appropriate letters after one’s name. Time will tell…and really nice that I have been included. cheers Joe
Just like to share that the product I sell most frequently is the matted product, image size 10 inch x 15in….ready to frame in off the shelf 16×20 frames available everywhere. I price these at $49 retail as a gift idea. Displayed in our furniture store they sell each month. So for under $50 dad gets a pic of his favorite holiday location to remember good times when he looks up onto the wall at home. I have been ordering these via labs in past years and now will be ordering the redbubble product Hope this helps. Cheers Joe

My portfolio is getting close to 59,000 views so I just wish to thank all those people who have left so many comments over the 4 months or so that I have been mostly off the air, and those who have left messages of support on Darrens journal entries for me. Also had some steady sales which is nice. I’m pretty pissed off that my wings have been so hea…
