Beautiful capture; the different textures add a great deal of appeal, as do the various orange tones. Excellent depth, focus, color and light; perfect exposure.

Stunning capture and colours Joe.

So very good to see your work on RB Joe. This little family of Fly Agarics looks very settled among the pine flooring. Nice lighting and good colour. In Autumn there are lots of them in the Blue Mountains and Southern Highlands. It’s always a delightful surprise to come across them. Very best wishes to you, Marian, your brother et al.

Joe so good to see you uploading. This is a stunner of a composition and presentation. Just need a few wee folk hiding in there!!! I have only ever seen one of these, and it was lurking among pine bark in a large park garden bed here on the edge of Sydney – I suspect it was imported along with the bark!!! Keep up the good work.

hello Joe, sorry for the poetic start I live in the northeast of England and we are blessed with a good amount of Fly Agarics in this area and I believe that they are a bit toxic so be careful, in england we associate these with the little people (elves and gnomes)
you have captured a nice little set here and you have done them justice great light and a nice balanced composition.

We have these here, too, and you’ve captured them so perfectly. A family of fungi wearing their vivid red spotted tops . Lovely depth and feel to this.
By the way, love your train motion shot. My mate thinks it’s great and should win. (My feelings aren’t hurt; I told him not to include me when he looked at all of the entries.)
Joe Mortelliti replied
Thanks Jan, Are they in a pine forrest area?.
I would vote for you in your black woolly tights than a lump of steel anyday:-)
