Thanks again everyone,
Peter as you know I’m normally heading to the outback, but I was recently forced to go to Melb for hospital treatment. This was a motel in Graton St where I stayed before being admitted to Royal Melb Hospital.

It’s funny, photographers are always attracted to these stairway shots. Can’t tell you how many of’em I’ve done! They certainly have great dynamics going on, don’t they? This looks like an abstract painting or maybe even something futuristic in nature. The viewer could also be inside a large sea shell or it could even be pure graphic design. Very handsome photograph. I like a lot!
Peacefulwarrior
Hey John this is truly one of the best staircase shots I have seen, from the Vatican to the Louvre, this tops them all…. photographers seem to love staircases and the spiralling leaving the viewer affect it gives and this is truly a great representation of that. I love how you have made this happen…. truly a piece of art!

Joe Mortelliti replied
Thanks PhotosBYG, appreciate the recognition and kind words. The photo was taken under difficult circumstances as I was preparing for a bone marrow transplant at the nearby Royal Melb Hospital, which so far has gone very well and pushing the shutter is much more fun that pushing up daisies:-)
PhotosByG
Wow Joe, amazing work then under such circumstances. Well done! Cheers, Graham
