Lightning Storm
I had some storm chasers see this image and they got very excited saying I had captured an extremely rare aspect of lightning…the little reddish line above the tower is about to become a lighning bolt.
I had driven around in the strom trying to find a vantage point, without success for over an 1hr.
Headed for home walked out onto the bacony and shots this with a long lens twithin a few minutes!...LOL.

That’s excellent and educational Joe! I didn’t know about the reddish line. The bolts along the powerlines just looks like somethings about to go horribly wrong.
