Pelican at Sunset Diamantina River
At Hunters Gorge on the Diamantina River in outback Queensland.The bird life here was amazing.The setting sun hit the gorge wall lighting it up glowingly and it then reflected in the still waters,I wached as slowly this pelecan drifted into the reflected glow of the golden sun.

The outback setting sun was behind to the right of my shoulder and started lighting up the gorge wall in fron of me,and reflecting in water…the pelican nicely moved along into the brightest area and @600mm l was able to make the capture….thanks for commenting
