Love the simplicity of this and the juxtaposition of the abandoned home and carefully tendered paddock. Great shot!
kookylane, about 1 year ago
It looks like someone dropped their house on the ground and completely forgotten about it. It has that lost and found quality about it, maybe because of the loneliness. NICE SHOT!

Agreed with Graeme Hindmarsh and kookylane… great shot…what more can I add…
except…

Brilliant shot, I believe that is the same beautiful little stone cottage on the cover of an old Midnight Oil album. In fact we went to Burra on the way back from the Flinders at Christmas just to see it! You’re photo is just fantastic and you are fortunate to have seen it with green crop around it!

This image stands out for me from the others in this group. I think it is a combination of the colours, and the stormy clouds against the sunlit cottage. It all seems so neat, like someone keeps the grass mowed, and the path swept. Kind of surreal. I’m also a sucker for stone ruins, so I can’t help liking it.
pmistric, 6 months ago
Absolutely beautiful. This image really draws me in with the tones displayed.
