Cart Ruin, Old Andado Station
On the western edge of the Simpson Desert,Old Andado Cattle Station is nestled between two rows of red sandhillls that disappear as far as the eye can see.
The station has many out buildings and historic interest. It now carries a heritage listing.It was restored by the station owner Molly Clarke who now lives in Alice Springs. Caretakers live on site and manage the desert camp ground for visitors

I love the background colour and lighting in this one as much as the foreground. It seems to make the image more subtle than the burning red soil (which I love but does get a tad cliched at times). Great image.
