Ok… I think my heart stopped for a moment… This is going STRAIGHT into my cart for my next retail therapy session.
Magic Joe… pure magic…

Oh! And Joe… can I ask how many mega pixels your camera is? I can only get my pics to post as small prints.
Joe Mortelliti
Bella,
I shoot with a Fuji S3 Pro, it’s 12MP, made up of what they call S and R Pixels.
The R pixels extend the dynamic range by about three stops, compared to other cameras, but these R pixels are smaller pixels.
Resolution wise it’s more like 8 or 9 MP of most cameras.
It’s the dynamic range and resultant tonal range that makes this particular camera special.
Hope this helps.
Hey thanks for putting you on my shopping list for future purchases, I feel very honoured:-)

AND thanks ladies for your comment on the pic:-)

Of the 2 Corio Bay shots, I prefer this one, because of the intensity of the sunset given the smooth water and the beautiful clouds!! the whole picture is definately one of your best!!

First of all, just another fine piece of art. I know you probably don’t want to end up being the “Answer Guy”, but I am curious. If I had taken this picture, my tendency would have been to have the horizon in the lower half of the picture like your other Bay shot. Can you tell me what made you pick this alignment? Don’t get me wrong, I think it works great!
Thanks,
Tom

I love the drama with red and Black.
Joe Mortelliti
Thanks for all your comments folks:-)
Tom,
By using a slow shutter speed I expected to get “smooth” looking waters in the foreground.
Where possible after spotting something I try to have a forground of interest…
In this case it would have been ok to simply use a longer lens and make an image of just the red sunset, but by including the forground, with it’s darker colour and smooth look I felt the image had more interest

Thanks Joe! I love it when photographers of your caliber will take the time to explain these things to me. I really makes it easier to understand the shot.
