I have recently been looking for information about photography portfolios, since I’m interested in making a portfolio for university. Although, I’ve already watched some videos on Youtube and read plenty of articles on Google, I’m still particularly interested in how much pages or photos should a portfolio have and if I could include a range of subjects, instead of presenting only one kind of photography.
I haven’t been satisfied with the information I came accross so far.
I would appreciate any help and information you may give me..!

I have recently got updated to Canon 550D with 18-55 mm lens and I’m currently using it, trying to get to know with the use of lenses!
What I want to ask is if you think this lens is adequate to do my first approach into dslr cameras or if you think I must consider of buying another lens, as well. Actually, I have heard that the particular lens has many disadvantages regarding its construction! What is your opinion on this? Is it metallic or plastic? Any recommendations or comments will be much appreciated!
