My granddaughter, Sadie, is haloed by early evening sun that was low on the horizon about an hour before sunset.. She stands on moss and seaweed covered rocks while visiting tidepools near our home in Cayucos, California.

This is such a fantastic shot, I can’t wait to come back and see all the comments. I know you will receive a lot. I love the title. It totally looks like clouds of a different kind. The glowing edges are magical as she seems to be stepping lightly as if not to fall through. Really fantastic!!!

Thank you so much Elizabeth. What great luck and fortune I had that day to be in the right place at the right time. I think she was stepping pretty lightly on the rocks as it was slippery out there! Thanks too for the favoriting!

This is an interesting shot, I love the halo of sunlight around her head. Sunlight is even going through her fingers. An angel that has touched such unusual clouds. Great shot!

GREAT SHOT MORPH, I CAN SEE BY ALL THE COMMENTS THAT I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THAT WAY. I NOTICED IN YOUR PROFILE,,,,,YOU LIKE THE DARKROOM. I WAS A DARK ROOM MUSHROOM ALSO, ONLY I DID IT FOR A LIVING. I FOUND OUT HOW TO PROPERLY EXPOSE FILM IN THE CAMERA,,BY DEVELOPING IT IN THE LAB. NOW, WE HAVE DIGITAL AND THAT ALL WENT OUT HE WINDOW,,,,,, SORT OF. ANYWAY, IF YOU LIKE TO PLAY IN THE DIGITAL DARKROOM, TRY CHANGING THE BACKGROUND HILLSIDE,,,,, TOTALLY BLUE LIKE THE SKY AND ADD SOME HIGHLIGHTS IN BETWEEN THE ROWS OF ALGAE. THAT’S JUST SOMETHING THAT CAME INTO MY HEAD AS SOON AS I SAW THE PHOTO, WHICH BY THE WAY IS PERFECT FOR THE PHOTO. I HOPE YOU TRY IT. BOB

LAST LINE OF PREVIOUS COMMENT,,,,,,,WHICH BY THE WAY IS THE PERFECT TITLE FOR THE PHOTO, IS HOW IT SHOULD HAVE READ. LOL BOB

Awww-
I like your edit idea! I’ll give it a shot and if it turns out well, I’ll be sure to put your name up there when the credits roll. Regarding the darkroom-I remember talking to a fine arts photographer a few years back who was very proud to consider herself a “purest” because she limited herself to using only _film …(do they still sell that stuff?)....Now _she was a mushroom with all that term can imply!. Don’t get me wrong, the darkroom was a great learning tool those without the experiece might not appreciate. But when you can shoot, upload and edit to nearly anything you can imagine, and in minutes instead of hours—I’m glad to come out of that darkroom and into the light!!! deanneSMOKEYDOGSOCKS
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN, I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY THAT I WAS ALLERGIC TO THE PHOTO CHEMICALS THAT WE USED IN THE PROCESSOR. MY BOSS DIDN’T BELIEVE IN PROPPER VENTALATION AND I DEVELOPED SINUS POLLUPS THAT RESULTED IN 7 SINUS SURGERIES WITH A FINAL TOTAL FRONTAL OBLIDERATION, JUST TO GET RID OF THE 11 YEARS WORTH OF SINUS HEADACHES THAT I HAD ON ALMOST A DAILY BASIS. I WAS LITTERALLY KEPT IN THE DARK AND FEAD BULLS#^* ALL DAY. I GOT TO MAKE PRINTS FOR SOME VERY GOOD PHOTOGRAPHERS, WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN GOING SOMEPLACE ELSE FOR DEVELOPING LARGE AND SMALL PRINTS HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR MY WORK. WHEN I LEFT THE STORE, SO DID 4 PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS THAT DIDN’T LIKE THE STORE OWNERS WORK, SO,,,,,,,HIS BUSINESS FOLDED. I ALSO HAD TO MAKE SOME PRINTS FOR SOME REALLY BAD SO CALLED PHOTOGRAPHERS. BUT, THAT’S ANOTHER STORY. THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE. BOB
