Morgan, I just had to comment of what I feel is a outstanding work of art. This is art at its best. the detail is excellent, especially the eye of the white shire. The bridle and harness are lifelike, even the hair on the hoofs. I can remember as a boy in Ireland my neighbour William McConnell using two shires he bought in England to plough the back fields, behind our cottage. He never liked tractors and took great pride in the traditional ways of farming.

My Grandmother would send me out to the field with water and food for him. I would be so happy because he always lifted me up and sat me on Ned back. Morgan, this sure takes me back in time. You are blessed by God with beautiful vision and talent. You have truly captured a scene that is very peaceful. Well done. http://www.philadelphia33.org/

Isaiah 28:24 Doth the ploughman plough all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
Amos 9:13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper.

I could look at this for years ! My father worked horses like these. The footsteps are in time and the way the horse on the right is swinging his head is so realistic.
    Brilliant work
