Tripping through the Mojave Desert this fencepost caught my eye. I really loved the contrast between the blackened wood and the yellow flowers, and while it seemed a bit of a funny subject at the time, visually I was really pleased with how it turned out. Not the sort of shot I was expecting to take when I headed out there, but it’s funny what you end up coming across on a photo expedition… :o)
