A Thylacine or ‘Tasmanian Tiger’ photographed at Battery Point in Hobart, Tasmania.
Is this evidence of Tasmanian Tiger sightings in Hobart? Unfortunately, no. There have been no confirmed sightings of these marvellous creatures for more than half a century. Due to governmental bungling and colonial attitudes they are most likely extinct.
This photograph is not a montage! It was taken using a cheap touristy plastic model Thylacine and a passing sailing ship. I did however add texture and sepia tone in post prod.

Great stuff! Would look good in any form, I’d say.
Thanks Sheila. Kind of you to say so.

Ha ha hahaha ahah ha Funny! You could go on a road trip of Tassie and take a series of these and then say something like “The dude was following me, he was everywhere I went! Extinct my ass”. :)
Ha! That would have been funny. I did take quite a few pics of the toy thylacine around Hobart. I must have looked pretty daft while taking the photos, but the only comment I got was a passerby stopping to say he had recently seen a live one in West Aust. Seriously! I love how weird reality is sometimes.
