Artist's Description

Intended as art for a postcard or perhaps a small poster.
A Thylacine or ‘Tasmanian Tiger’ photographed at Battery Point in Hobart, Tasmania.
Is this evidence of Tasmanian Tiger sightings in Hobart? Unfortunately, no. There have been no confirmed sightings of these marvellous creatures for more than half a century. Due to governmental bungling and colonial attitudes they are most likely extinct.
This is not a montage, it was composed and photographed in real life! Featuring a small touristy plastic model Thylacine and a passing sailing ship, the Lady Nelson. I did however add texture and sepia tone in post prod.
