painting of a cat skull decorated with wasabi flowers and leaves
Wasabi was the name of a cat. She was the most aggressive cat I had ever met. Visitors were warned not to make eye contact, but they never listened. I don’t think they believed a little black cat with pretty green eyes could be a danger. They learned.
Despite the wild cat attitude, when she felt safe Wasabi was a highly affectionate and playful animal.
Wasabi is no more. This was painted to celebrate her and perhaps also the other little wild cats that are no more.
