Machismo is a tuneless serenade
one note done over and over
sung to other guys.
I would write a symphony
every note, played in proper place.
The enchanting overture,
the dramatic movement,
the thrilling crescendo,
a standing ovation from us both.
The concert hall is empty.
The maestro still hears his dream.
Ladies— “If there wasn’t a demand, there wouldn’t be a supply!”
