Hello Dear Friends,
I am pleased to say that our little holiday is going well, and as promised we went to visit the Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary on our way south.
To my surprise, it turned out to be a little house, with a multitude of out buildings full of creatures in the back yard or garden. It was overcrowded to say the least, and when I arrived the proprietor had just received a call to say that a pair of swans were in trouble, and he was just about to leave to help them, so I only had about ten minutes to have a look around.
I met Jasmine, who was indeed a beautiful gentle creature, plus some other little dogs, two of which had been tied to a railway line by Gypsies ! I also met Bramble, the little Roe Deer seen here below, one of the many creatures which Jasmine mothered. You can read more about this amazing Greyhound by following the link below.
Here are a few photographs of my visit to the Sanctuary, plus some snaps of our annual trip to Bognor Regis, where I take Snowdrop on the little train which runs along the promenade. This is our tenth such trip, and the train driver even remembered us !
The little shot of Snowdrop on the bottom right hand side was taken in a pretty little place called Bosham where we had lunch.
I am pleased to say that I have been able to log on most days to see what is going on here on RB, and help moderate my groups.
I will be back to normal next week when I get home, and will have time to catch up with everyone properly then.
With best wishes from sunny West Sussex.
