Same bog, but different day and year! (Not the only place I know how to find, but obviously my favorite because I’ve been able to find these handsome bulls there!) I have many photos of this particular bull, taken over a period of several years. The bog itself is beautiful to me, note its lush greenness, the weathered stumps, rocks, dark brown mud, the bits of moss on the stark skeletal remains of trees. When we sit out there, watching and photographing the moose, we’re also aware of all the birds, their songs, the passing clouds, & the changes in light with the passing seasons, weather, or the time of day. And in the spring, of course, there are always the peepers! To me this place and the moose are a piece of art!
