What a lovely picture, you are very good at the horses. I draw my people from photos too, aswell as the animals and for the first ones I used to use a grid to get the proportions right and sometimes I just plain cheat and trace them, especially the musketeer you looked at because he is my husband and he is ultra critical and worse than that he sulks, for weeks.

Such a beautifully drawn portrait this is. I recently attempted my first ever horse picture so now, more then ever, i appreciate just how bloody hard they are to draw. You’ve done a super job here and I love how you’ve created a real sense of depth. The mouth area is particularly superb.

Oh thank you Adam for your most encourging coment on my work you are very kind and yes they aren’t an easy subject to draw but if you stick at it you will get there that’s how i did it by persistance you know what they say “prcatice makes perfect?” Thank you so very much again i have been away from bubble for a few months but will have to come back now you gave me these encouraging words :D
