12×16 acrylic on canvas
I couldn’t help it, I had to paint one more enchanted doll. Here is the original inspiration. And here is the lovely reference for the barn owl.

gorgeous :-))) love the shape of her face and those big eyes … hmmm … looks like you’ve gone and inspired me again. Darn, I wanted an early night!! lol xxx
haha, always happy to inspire you! I am sitting here annoyed because he hair is more turquois than blue….I swear I am going to have to start professionally scanning these paintings.
or learn to edit ;-)) Scans often aren’t really the same as the original either, so most people I know manually adjust. But then, it also depends on the screen … my laptop’s pretty close, on the PC the colours scream so badly I get shocked by my own work!!
That’s true, it is just so hard to make it look as good as the original. I did go and play with it some more, her hair is closer to the original now. I really do have loads to learn about editing though!
WOW Tammy, I really love the inspiration you are getting from these dollies- another fantastic piece- the owl ofcourse I just adore too xx
I can’t help it, there is just something about those dolls. So happy you like her Anita!
Very good. I think it’s called a cover-up :) (referring to original picture being topless).
Haha, well I almost left her topless too, but like hands….I seem to have trouble painting believable boobies…hahaha.
that’s really COOL what a great image!
Ahhh, thankyou so much Patricia, so glad you like her!
Hey thanks Tone!
She is stunning…and has indeed beauty and attitude of a princess!Great Tammy! Love it!
Thankyou so much Dorina, I am so pleased you like her!
Awww, thankyou so much sweet Jane!
Very Nice Spiral!
Thankyou monster, I am very happy you enjoyed this one!
Ahhhh! How sweet…. As a little girl growing up in Slovakia, I have a memory of a princess named Arabella. It was an enchanting fable/story of a princess who wore a ring that if she turned around her finger all her wishes would come true or she could disappear in her cloak. It was awesome and I loved it. : ) Ahhh to be a kid again. Now, I’d gladly take a ring like that…. Cheers!
I am so glad my lil’ Arabella reminded you of such a sweet fairytale. I do wish I had a ring like that myself, but isn’t it always so hard to decide what your first wish would be…I mean do you go selfish and wish for billions of dollars…or world peace….
