11:11 Gatekeeper by MoonSpiral

16×20 acrylic on canvas panel

Kim Turner put a link to Enchanted doll awhile back on one of her works, and opened a can of worms for me. I am in love with these dolls and want to paint them all. The face in this is highly influenced by one of Marina’s dolls. Everything else just happened and when I realized I would have her finished on this powerful 11:11 I knew she carried that energy

Tammy Mae Moon is tired of writing about herself in third person. I like to paint. I like to paint women and birds and snakes, and a few other things.

Beautiful! Tell me more about 11:11? – I seem to keep seeing that number for the past couple of months.

  • I always think of 11:11 as a gateway. 11:11 asks us to give up our victim mentality and to step through the gate of mastery, realizing we create our own reality. Everytime I see 11:11 I think the angels are reminding me to be aware of my thoughts and what I am creating. There is a ton of stuff on the net about it. I have been seeing 11:11 for over 10 years now constantly, once it starts it keeps happening…it is a call to higher consciousness.

instant favorite….I saw this number all over the place when my mother died last July….

  • I am so happy you like it Kevin, it is a very special number that connects us to the Otherside I think.

Truly beautiful work, Tammy. Her headdress is fantastic; but of course it is the eyes that captivate.

  • Thankyou Frannie, I love headdresses, glad you like it!

Wow Tammy, what a beautiful painting!! I love it! I had to check out that link as well, and i agree the dolls are so very inspiring…did you have to get permission to paint her from them?

  • Thanks Stephanie, ya know i didn’t ask permission..just started painting. She isn’t an exact replica of her doll. I did notice Marina has a page on her site for fan art where people send her things they have done so I think a lot of people are inspired by them. I plan to send her this and I provided the link, so hopefully it is all good.

YESSSS!!!!! :) She makes me feel all tingly inside! :) Love those dolls too, btw! They are so fabulous! This is really wonderful though. I MUST MUST MUST paint tonight!

  • Yes you must you must. I am so happy you like her. I just sit and stare at her dolls. Kim said they start at $2000 Canadian, so at the rate I can maybe buy one from my RB earnings in about 20 years :)

This is beyond fantastic Tammy! Those eyes are wonderful…you do an amazing job on them as always. You did such justice to Marina’s dolls. I want one so badly…and they have inspired some ideas yet to be drawn. When I saw this on FB i knew the doll that inspired. Love love love it.

I Recommend this piece to the I Recommend Group for the beauty and the message thispiece shows the viewer. More people need to see/expierience this piece.

  • Wow, Lynette that is so kind. Thankyou for the recommendation. What a great idea for a group…there are sooo many works I would like to recommend, including just about everything of yours :)
