    She is a very intense looking owman…very strong…She looks familiar and yet I cannot quite place it. Beautiful colours. And I am that way with painting…I have 3 unfinshed painting sitting there waiting for me to come back to them…

    I’m not a fan of painting on one thing for too long but sometimes you have no choice depending on the size and detail of a work.

    She is a lovely creation and the composition is truly beautiful

    Yeah, I want to paint BIG paintings, but it takes so long. I am going to have to scale down so I don’t go crazy.

    Gorgeous Tammy, well worth the week’s worth of painting!!!
    I do know what you mean as my biggest problem is a lack of time & my ideas are never singular, they flood 10 at a time & i’m always thinking about the next thing!
    But on the other hand i get hooked on detail & end up spending forever on the tiniest little things & never feel it’s “finished”.
    But back to Iris, i do love her… i love purple almost as much as blue & her green eyes match perfectly!!!

    You know I didn’t even think about the masculine part of the flowers until it was almost done. And then her face has such a strength to it….funny how the energy balanced itself out when I was trying to make it more “feminine”. Thankyou for your thoughtful comment!

    I think I need to learn how to do what you do with adding the color digitally. You get the most brilliant color that way…..but I only know how to adjust the color and contrast in PS. I need to go find a PS tutorial! Thanks Karin!
