Old Brickworks, from 2010 (location test)
Sydney Park’s Old brick factory signifies the old being transformed by the new……where the brick factory has given way to new development around the area. This represents the changing urban landscape that is a constant reminder that nothing stays stationary in our age.
Below is an excerpt from the poem I wrote, published in The Forsaken Muse’ Book of poetry and photography. It talks about change too – internal change that occurs within me.

Like waves a-rollin’
Can you hear the gentle whisper?
Just go with it.
To be free and without burden
Is bliss, is joy, is rest.
Have a look at me now,
See the smile on my lips,
The peace I have within my heart,
The people are callin’
That is my life now,
No time for selfish desires
And dreams that will never rhyme.
‘Spirit’ says ‘Yield’,
Yes, I come,
I am in a hurry,
Life is too short to think a lot about myself…
…..That is my most important change.
