– Mojca Savicki
Watched them both, amazing ! I first heard him in "69 or "70 I think. There was a Jamaican record store in a fringe area of Washington, DC, where they played “45’s on request. You could hang out, lean against the wall and listeb to the music as long as you wanted to. Mostly Jamaicans hung out there but I just loved the music and was introduced to him there. Then the movie came out,”The Harder They Come" which was kind of a cult classic at least for me and my friends. Big Fan ! tony
i love his music too, heard about him a bit later than you did as i was only born when you were already hanging out with Jamaicans LOL
How old is he ? Seventies ?
I’ve read somewhere he is 63 :)…he performed 90 minutes with no break and he would continue if organizers let him hehehe…he rocks!!
Hi’s 63, not so old (from my point of view) exelent shot Mojca!
haha, not just yours…well, aged doesn’t matter anyway :)…you’re as young as you feel…Thanks very much Željko!! :)
63,, Same age as I am, as you pointed out above!!!! LOL tony
And for Zeljko above , Thanks for the comment, you are right " Not So Old " :) tony
oh, he is young from my point of view too Tony :))…he feels young, it’s obvious :)I bet you don’t feel old either, i always feel 20 years younger than I am, when people ask me about my age, i have to think to answer correctly LOL
As above, I am a long time fan of Jimmy Cliff also!He has always been outstanding, ,”The Harder They Come" was a Huge cult classic when I lived in Southern Cali many years ago. Thanks for the memories Mojca, such a pleasure to see him still preforming in such style! Many Rivers to CrossOh Yeah!
yeah, i LOVE that song!! And if i’m not mistaken, i think this shot was taken during Many Rivers to Cross!!!Thank you for commenting, John! :)
SPECTACULAR shot!! WELL DONE!
Thank you very much Ron!!
What a fantastic shot Mojca! I love the straight-forwardness of this shot – no fuss, just perfectly taken at such a moment. His joy in the music is palpable and you’ve captured it perfectly. Really brilliant!
Thanks very much Kevin!! :-)Thought i would have a new camera already but still nothing hehe, should have it already for the balloon and Sweden…but all the same, i was in the front row, so some pics came out OK :)))
