I don’t know why this one escaped my notice – probably because I was sure I must have commented on it in the past. I’ve seen many of your photos of musicians (you have THE most eclectic, broad and fascinating taste in music I’ve ever seen in anyone – all one has to do is peruse your playlists to know how truthful this statement is.

I remember we had just started e-mailing one another shortly after you had arranged to have Filthy Angels play that gig in Ruse. All the difficulties, their (not atypical) musician’s impatience and too frequently neglect of the immense amt. of work – the promoter (YOU) had to go through, and your kind yet perfectly firm admonitions to get their act (not the musical one, lol) together if Ruse was to happen. How many frustrations you endured – for the love of music, your enthusiasm for John’s band, and the desire to bring a show of that magnitude to a relatively small town like Ruse, Slovenia. How I admired your persistence, hard work, and incredible attention to details – not the least of which to bring the band together, which, if memory serves, were all over Europe.

This wonderful photo captures, so honestly, the intensity of John’s playing – you can see it in his expression if you view it large – and the ‘theater’ tat is a rock and roll concert. I’m sure that without you as the driving force behind it all, Ruse never would have had the immense joy of such a wonderful event. So, congratulations on one fabulous pohoto, and kudos for the months of preparation, perspiration, and sheer hard work on your part to make it happen. You’re a very special person Mojca.

  • wow KD, what a comment! It was some time ago, i know, but as i don’t always replying on comments i probably missed it…..Anyway, every now and then i click on some older pic in my portfolio so i found it :)))). THANK YOU!!!!
