Karen summed it up best! All the elements are there – the rough beach, the solitary figure, in the distance, walking away. The sea. And some quote, which comes to me from the distant past ”...imperfectly recalled, “Like islands in a vast sea, that vast, salt, estranging sea”.

hmmmm, hope i didn’t awake any sad feelings in you :(

such a fantastic feeling to this Mojca!

No Mojca, not at all. It’s a wonderful “Canvass”, and you’ve given each of us ‘permission’ to create our own story within it. I will imagine a young woman, perhaps on a short trip, to an island I think, with enough infrastructure to make the journey pleasing, but not so much as to encourage swarms of tourists jostling you on this beach – an Irish Beach you said – the West Coast – more wild and untamed than those which lie to the east. James Joyce walked upon those sands; remember? “My ash sword cane hangs by my side. Tap with it – they do.”

A wonderful capture Mojca… Love the feel of it… Serenety… Love the shells too (I always pick up lots of them because of the colors and the perfect spiral shapes).
Beautiful image!
