Death and Transfiguration In The Republic Of Love

Leaning over my window pane
The music blows through my weather vane,
A Juliette in the East
A Romeo in the West!

Tattooed on each star-crossed lover
Is the mark of the other!
I recall that bittersweet pang of Cupid’s poisoned arrow,
Versus the ecstasy of love in a cup of coffee and mellow!

When in dreams I wander through my intrepid forest,
So appropriately immodest,
Dancing with the man
But making out with the Pan!
So it is in the death of “men”,
We find the maintenance of my Zen.

We will then look to the East,
For Moonlights electrifying beast
Covert in the dead of twilight,
To serenading lovers at midnight.

Juliette awakens in a silky kimono
And plays Hentai with a king size komodo,
A concubine to her majesty’s secret servitude
Imprisoned in a gilded pumpkin of fortitude!

Sooner will the West cry me a tune,
Of lovers lost in a desert dune with silver spoons
One day my lips will kiss the sky
To all those fuckers who said goodbye!
