Out of my secret garden I tread
Through towns and cities I sped
Wounded by the invisible light,
Pounding on heaven’s door with an earthy might!
Up here the angels dwell,
Immortals in their lofty hotels.
Here the air is so much more thinner,
That early exit through twilight,
A most peculiar diversion before dinner!
Now the palms of my tender feet have swelled,
The softness of Cloud 9 I could not repel!
No death chamber of apprehension,
Nor limbo into another dimension.
Only a sweet soft voice, a krisco kiss!
Lips caress my thoughts and never miss!
A gentle child, a beautiful man!
An untamed beast with magical hands!
An enduring moment that was all too brief,
So as love taught music that its good to grief!
Returning to earth, my spirit having flown
Landing feet first into a nightmare we have woven.
With feeble steps I walked the world alone,
Miles, miles away from the comforts of home!
Feel the weight of that superincumbent
A dying battery, a falling tower!
As the killing twilight smiled on the horizontal day,
The night captured the essence of my foreplay!
While day dreaming in a taxi on the way back to my hotel the driver turned too early and took to me somewhere in Never never Land. Shit happens!
