Yes….it was a Friday Afternoon,
I just finished my shift.
What a week of shit!
I hurried to the train stationIn my stilettos with my Gucci by my side.
O Those fucking stilettos are hurting my feet,
Why do I bother?
I kicked them off and
as they flew in the air
One had to land squarely on my head.
It was then Darkness fell and
I was suddenly transported
In to a mythical place where
waiting for me was this knight in shining armour!
It was a modified Norton motorcycle shining gloriously in the Sun.
With my secretary standing beside it holding a clipboard.
We both mounted the beast and I rode the mechanical knight with my trusty secretary through a dark and dusty desert highway heading for the Red Sea. Yes, the Red Sea…
He held on to dear life, burying his painted fingernails into my chest bones.
Day became night and the clusters of stars and galaxies hung over the desert landscape like a beautiful satin evening gown.
By sunrise we had reached the celestial sea cliffs where we witnessed the magnificent pristine shores of the Red Sea.
No sign of a Xanadau or Shangrila…
Just a landscape devoid of every living organism
Only the basic elements…..
Like the Air, The Wind, The Sand and The Sea…
Except for the Norton and us.
We were standing on pre-historic Earth,
before the fishes and the dinosaurs and maybe even the pre-Cambrians.
We were like living a childhood fantasy where you close your eyes and
pretend everyone had disappeared from the face of the world.
We shed our clothes and ran to the sea like of a couple of naked
street urchins experiencing the surf for the very first time,
and emerging from the sea I pretended to be Botticelli’s “Birth Of Venus”,
only my hair wasn’t long enough to cover up my Venus De Mons.
Now… If only….If only I had a camera.
It was then I woke up and remembered…
The horror and the realization that…that…that
O SHIT!!!!! I left my IPHONE at work……Damn!
About you and me and the deep blue sea.
