Artist's Description

Tarot Devil, this card is part of a set that I wanted to creat and use for myself, I am not sure why my motivation went, I should finish them really.

Pictorial Symbolism of Moonies Card…..
The card shows a figure, the horned goat mendes, with wings like those of a bat, standing on an alter.
The right hand is upraised and extended, beign the reverse of the benediction given by the Hierophant. There is a ring in front of the alter
(I prefered an alter that was more majestic, hence the throan, and It was what I felt should be right for me as I created it.) the ring holds two chains, and they are carried to the necks fo two figures, one male one female, These are anaologous with those on the fifth card, as if Adam and Eve after their fall from grace.

The interpritations of these although personal were mostly taken from a book I liked and had for many years by Geddes.

Although if you receive the card you are usually in a negative situation and you came to a reader, usually means you are trying to find your way but beign to clouded by bad judgement. So reflection on the present situations as ask others for advice. But be cautious and slow in tackling the problem. It could go on a lot long this is very base no room :) or time.
