Lincoln wakes up on the backseat of a gutted out car a on the edge of a graffiti painted playground. “The rich get richer, the poor have kids”, is written across the A frame of the playground’s swings. I guess It’s better than a cock and balls or so and so is a slut, Lincoln thinks to himself.

The smell of smoke wafts in the air, but not the widespread eucalyptus bushfire smell that has been omnipresent this summer. Lincoln is never surprised by such aromas. He can claim to over 18 wildfires this summer alone. But his unstoppable lust for fire has evolved.

He can’t get over the feeling of cold jerry can handles being in his hands and starts to see the city on fire. The cacophony of sirens and helicopters are the perfect soundtrack to his latest work of art. Lincoln’s heart skips a beat as his phone buzzes in his fluorescent emergency services jacket. He answers the phone with feigned disbelief, knowing his underhand activities are unravelling like his sanity.
