Featured in BARNS & Old Grist Mills August 2010

This falling down old barn is one of many located on an estate in Bear Delaware that will soon be leveled. There are several large old barns, four houses and many small buildings with a high fence around it before they all get removed. I was permitted to come on the grounds and photograph them before the demolishing begins.

Located just off route 40 and route 896 in Bear Delaware.

Taken with a Nikon D90 and a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Lens.

HDR, 3 exposures, hand held, processed in Photomatix Pro.

The simple realization that time lost is lost forever, is one I find utterly frightening.

Great photography is ultimately not about cameras; great photography is about great photographs.

A great photographer is a person who makes great photographs, not necessarily a person who owns a great camera or lens.
