While spending Monday in Lancaster County I came across these little Amish kids heading home from school in a pouring rain. Their lunch pales are a lot bigger than the Hot Wheels pale I once had. The perfect spring image!

The simple realization that time lost is lost forever, is one I find utterly frightening.

Great photography is ultimately not about cameras; great photography is about great photographs.

A great photographer is a person who makes great photographs, not necessarily a person who owns a great camera or lens.

wonderful capture, you can see the rain pelting off the ground. But their faces are full of fun.

  • Thank you Karen! This is a busy highway for these kids to be on in any weather conditions but they were having fun.

Great shot, were you in the car or out in that rain? They look like they are enjoying the downpour! Tony

  • They were having fun in it. I was driving and did a u-turn to get the shot from my car. Thanks for the comment!
