This little red caboose is located in Strasburg PA at the Train Museum. It’s Pennsylvania Rail Road Caboose # 476087.

Strasburg Railroad has recently restored this wooden caboose back to original PRR livery. Only a handful of these cabooses survive today.

Taken with a Nikon D90 and a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Lens.

HDR, 1 exposure, hand held, processed in Photomatix Pro.

The simple realization that time lost is lost forever, is one I find utterly frightening.

Great photography is ultimately not about cameras; great photography is about great photographs.

A great photographer is a person who makes great photographs, not necessarily a person who owns a great camera or lens.

I love the edit on this. Great picture…………….j

  • Thanks, I’m just starting to fool around with this HDR stuff. I don’t know if this is ok or bad or do I need to tweak it here and there. Thank you for your comment!

Thank you for sharing your work with the Photomatix HDR Group. This wonderful example of a Photomatix-processed image has been accepted into the Group!

  • Thank you…give me some advice to what I need to do that would make my photos better with HDR. I have a apple mac book without a graphics card so the only software I use is photomatix pro, aperture, photoshop elements 6 (I really don’t use it yet). I can’t use CS4 because I don’t have a graphics card.
