Parents sing or hum lullabies ones we know or variations of the ones we know and sometimes make up nonsensical words soothing words which are not words at all just sounds. The magic and wonderment of a child held and beheld is indescribable and so are the little songs we sing or the words that are not words when we coo and make silly sounds to entertain and communicate with “eyes of my eyes” which is what I sang to my son….once in a while I sing it to him and he rolls his eyes all grown up…I just laugh….yup pretty silly in some ways….unconditional love makes you goofy that way with love.
