very good, Sir; for my Book of Truisms.
I have recently discovered a twist on the carefully laid foundation and step-by-step of all this : hubris can stave off the finality of the thing. A mind that can be stronger than and at odds with the body can muddle the accepted expected order of things. In other words, pride does not always cometh before the fall and can be mightier than the hand of the executioner. aak.

  • Reminds me of the teacher and the firm foundation most façades are laid on sand with a skeleton to prop them up and a gentle wind topples them flop face down. The finality of the thing is the thing about it and hubris edifices of pride can up to a point “stave off” then look sideways slim at best, wood rots and metal rusts and the body and mind becomes an urn for the depressed soul. Pride is not a stumbling block when in fact there is genuine knowledge and not arrogance of rote knowledge of redundancy of the acolytes of the brain dead flat world cognoscente of today. The hand of the executioner “time” and it’s terrible scythe or just the numbness of existence waking up each day like Rip Van Wrinkle needing an electronic toy fix and affirmation that relevance is subjective requiring a facelift knowing there is something very creepy about to happen “here a little there a little taking shape” like the Paul Ryan’s of Atlas Shrugged under the rug gloom and doom phony baloney bullshit, “because something is happening here but you don’t know what it is do you, Mr. Jones?” Now you are thinking that you should not have made a comment, because I am a non sequitur of rant rambling (the world is great sadly some people are skin bags of shit not even fertilizer worthy) everything takes place in the mind sometimes you want to shut it off and go on hiatus. Thanks for the comment I think I will try to reply with one word or a short sentence or just say nothing.

Having studied Architecture and Psychology, I totally understand what a facade is. : D

  • The two disciplines are compatible as for the facade figuratively an old device however there are four main regions and six layers to the mind or gray matter (yes much more complex than four and six lord Almighty a brain guru genius may drop by and start blah blahing and criticizing) so little of the mind and intellect is used just think of the political voting process or selecting a mate blah blah blah (I swear I have to do twitter type comments and replies and or just not say anything)…not to mention all of the hubris baggage…I have a headache (just kidding…hip hip hooray Hippo campus)…TY2U…

the facade cracks we are not what we really think we are
in time we resemble the illusion of being,
washed in dust and ashes waiting for the next facade
do we become what wer`e not or not what we become

  • In this reality pretense and posing and never showing the inner self…some folks loving the schadenfreude (Schandenfreude) suffering of their fellow human beings with huge jackass grins…and some paint on their solemn caricature Kabuki mask (politicians religious leaders and captains of industry) while others flash their diabolical evil clown faces (Rupert Murdoch and other brethren goons of his smarmy greasy ilk)…in the end,“ashes to ashes dust to dust all is hubris…c’est fini!” TY2U Charlie.
