I was wise as a child
then my four square soul was pounded into the round hole of the status quo…porch prayers
garage dreams scream
for the day
of blending into the mist, that bliss of nothingness.
God or gods
tend the myths and humankind is unkind pretending that the trinity of body mind and soul
lives each day
the sanity
being nothing more than the image of the one in another dimension
who is immortal
transported through portals of time….oh such a pantomime of legend facts or fiction
it is just perdition of superstition we are gods, are we not (?).
woe and anguish angst thinking that what is was always and the eternal Alpha Omega knows which is what and who transit only to swoon dropping dead like flies arise maggots
wiggle in a madness eating up the living entity…earth….the Creator made her we are told,
question not or to some boxed cubicula you must go…the insane know that reality is insanity and are filled full of manufactured prescribed medication….yes they know,
we are gods,
junior grade not immortal only flesh and generational….those who know us, forget…one by one expire, time out…whisper porch prayers looking heavenward a garage dream,
to dirt we surely will return.
the bone covered in flesh stretched taut wrinkled by day’s end as children we scratched and pawed this mother with joyful screams; it ends suddenly children not anymore
passing through the slit of
puberty, not by chance
it is the plan to regenerate procreate and for some to contemplate,
what is this place, a rock amongst rocks, unique or commonplace, a chunk of dirt with life forms who at every opportunity yield to imposed fate from the elements and situations
fade to daydream, awake just to exist on this place in our time and only for a time,
some say Mother Earth, if in fact we truly believe it….that she is not inert,
alive just like you and me, not a lump, a living being in every way the mother who gives birth to nurse and nurture her progeny.
Thoughtless children build, some tear down never thinking one must give back to this great place, a habitat pristine uncluttered unpolluted and for eternity, Gaia Terra Earth living planet with or without offspring….are we not gods (?).

Polvo Soliloquy

Earth is unique of course that is just an opinion and an understatement there could possibly be untold numbers of planets with life forms. Whether you believe in a creator or evolution that is a zero-sum endless debate that just pings and pongs neither position is really provable, if it were it would be the end of the discussion and of course “discussion” is a euphemism, a bow wow doggerel barking regarding life forms and this planet. So many legends and anomalies in history regarding mans origin and yes gods and God and Earth sometimes called Terra and yes Gaia. Our planet is a living breathing entity just like you and me. Plant a seed add water it grows, life forms abound everywhere and just about anywhere the planet is soil and water, alive. Alive and resilient should the current life forms cease to exist this planet possibly could reinvent itself…by itself or with some higher power, no answer to that question we will never know. For now I can enjoy what is available, that may change and like some legends you could ask “are we not gods (?)” in some respects yes, we have free will and can make choices that have a cause and effect…every action humankind makes has a reaction….we are the current resident custodians responsible for the Earth and our tenure may just be over we have collectively made some very bad choices.
