forever young 1917-1963

Camelot shimmered and shined a myth of Jack and Jackie and a time that never was…for a blink of an eye in reverie they are forever young, and so are we.

Artist's Description

President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas Texas…a lone gunman pulls the trigger…?…or a conspiracy of a powerful cabal employing shadowy gunmen triangulate their weapons and pull their triggers…?…we will never know what really happened…and if we did…then what…myth and legend and time…blur blurring cover-ups and spy versus spy and the hysteria of that time in history…so long ago…of course there is the official findings of the Warren Commission “a lone gunman”…and then there is the Zapruder film…JFK forever young on a Texas afternoon and in an instant gone…while Jackie reaches for what was a part of Jack…“In short, there’s simply not…A more congenial spot…For happily-ever-aftering than here in Camelot.”
