Memories can be like that – like an old flip book hand drawn animation of events, dark, light flashing briefly for emphasis on life altering events. Very well written – memory can be a curse.

Yes very much like a flip book and sometimes it gets stuck on a page then rage or the quiet of quietness and you explode remembering something so submerged and it sticks you like needles in the eyes…flash flashing and then you must move on…TY.
