It’s true! It’s true! The Republican has made it clear.
The climate must be perfect all the fucking year.

A law was made a distant moon ago here:
July and August cannot be too hot.
And there’s a no legal limit to the bullshit here
In Lilliput.
The thought process is forbidden till December
And exits March the second on the dot.
By order, summer lingers through September
In Lilliput.
Lilliput! Lilliput!
I know it sounds a bit bizarre,
But in Lilliput, Lilliput
That’s how bipartisan conditions are.
The bullshit will always fall till after sundown.
By eight, the morning GOP gasbags do not disappear.
In short, there’s simply not
A more contentious spot
For miserable-ever-aftering than here
In Lilliput.

Lilliput! Lilliput!
I know it gives a person pause,
But in Lilliput, Lilliput
Those are the legal laws.
The bullshit may always slush upon the hillside.
By nine p.m. the Republican Trolls must appear.
In short, there’s simply not
A more despicable spot
For bullshit-ever-aftering than here
In Lilliput.

Gulliver had his travels and shipwrecked in Lilliput and Camelot was a most congenial spot and like the fanciful fantasies of the Republicans who gnash their teeth on the perfect way to crack an egg…in Lilliput. The more things change the more they remain the same i.e. like the Republican Party of Lilliput. My humble apologies to Jonathan Swift and that most wonderful song of songs of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe…Camelot. You gotta laugh at the Republican Party they think Saint Ronnie Reagan’s crap of crapola and their current déjà vu hogwash du jour is gonna be the answer to their constant debate of which end of the economic egg to crack and the eggs that they have laid…only in the Republican Lilliputian mind set….” In short, there’s simply not…A more contentious spot…For miserable-ever-aftering than here…In Lilliput.”
This is a parody…OK.

…forever dyslexic one word less is one word more…design follows the eye before the shape shifts into form…when two hearts beat as one nirvana bliss a blink of joy…we are stardust star stuff of serendipity…art is a business of commodities for sale…caveat emptor oh yes for sure one woman’s junk is another man’s treasure…make me laugh and i am yours…

    F.U.B.A.R. America’s Right Wing Nightmare

People, like you and me and many others are keeping their eyes open and their ears tuned to the Banana Republicans.

Democracy and freedom requires diligence and an ever watchful eye.

  • Ha ha one must be very careful about Banana Republic and Banana Republicans had a go round about that elsewhere…which has nothing to do with your link…Republicans are and were the middle school bullies all who later graduated magna cum loutish not gender or race specific just boorish with nothing but nothing to add to America or the world just spoilers spoiling out of insecurity which is their security a fascist trait…and losers with too much time on their hands…they must be watched and hopefully go the way of the dinosaur.

US politics always makes me worry. Popularist Presidents from Holliwood, Governors that could be robots, oil well owners that must know how, all the money needed to speak and be heard and every word writen by the best script writers and comics. Those with the money to buy a undoubted education, and a shifty speech writer and public relations machine, whether or not the ability or merit exist, seem to suck their way to a popular smile that would kiss your baby and another good buy what you can………. and the alternate choice is her husband wasn’t that bad, it wasn’t as if he blew the job just got blown on the job, his wife must be just as nice and pleasing, but it doesn’t matter because you don’t have to win when someone looses so bad…

A better choice would exist if merit and ability counted more than the billions to buy a speech writer and hypnotic campaign slogun….

and the next election campaign has started already so there isn’t much time to actually Govern….

And the egg cracked at both ends before the toast was burnt…the enemy is over there in Lilliput…not here at home thinking of blowing up another Federal Building…..

John Wayne said in a movie ’One day they will make a movie about a war and start one, and here we are doing it…"

    Wasn’t Plato a Republican ??

  • Bread and Circus and like a television docudrama the players play their parts as the unseen producers fund the current limited broadcast every election cycle of the candidate du jour regardless of political parties…but somehow I don’t think it is really not that different with other governments and countries…not being cynical. Nothing in humankind’s nature has changed same doubts fear and insecurities with a smidgen of lets say happiness once in awhile ala Dickens…technology changes so everything that happens is in your face which can cause paranoia overload and you can start to chant “lions tiger and bears” and feel like just a number waiting for your number to come up. When Swift (Swift being an Anglo-Irish trouble maker ha ha) wrote Gulliver’s Travels he had to have it printed secretly fearing “serious” repercussions from the establishment and it sold like hot cakes and it was a cometary of the same type of folks then and now who get into power…and the damn fools are still arguing which end is best to crack the egg…the more things change the more they remain the same…we are living with Lilliputians and Yahoos all running around with the best of intentions…their own self interests. TY for the comment and so glad to hear from you…Camelot like Brigadoon and Shangri-La only exist in the imagination.
