It is a metaphor no one knows the time or the manner of our death, but the One did, you are familiar with Isaiah 53 some discount prophecy or the creation process and even God. Three nails or two nails no way of knowing a cross or a single vertical stake…nailed yes. Thank you Kenny….who knows for sure as to the actual manner of crucifixion cross or single stake….beaten not once but twice…yes twice!….rejected reviled and made fun of and murdered in cold blood an innocent man….then resurrected as a NEW CREATION….Isaiah 53 very sobering…..and the wrangling still continues by the current Pharisees of the religious right and the Sadducee’s on the left….nothing so disconcerting as organized religion of all faiths…..ONE GOD many religions (which one is right ?)….interesting to say the leasts…and on that day in that hour…a blinking of an eye…what then (?)…say all atheist, evolutionist, Christians (modern Pharisees and Sadducee’s who say “I am not my brothers keeper”) politicians and all other religions of humankind, secular philosophies and religious diversities et al….Isaiah 44: 9-20….it is a great life if you don’t weaken and think the unthinkable (which is to think…most can’t and won’t)….Shalom….Namaste.
