The statue of limitations on torture never expires “NEVER!”...what makes it even more obscene is that Karl Rove and Dick Cheney and especially Rush Limbaugh and some others were or are draft dodgers who did not serve their country when their country needed them to fight and perhaps die in the Vietnam debacle…go figure…at least Dubya was in uniform all coked out and drunk avoiding Vietnam…go figure and the Lord allowed him to be reborn. There is always DNA or other incrementing evidence at the scene of the crime and some will name names when the time is right…redemption for some guilt for others…this was not done in a vacuum…Germany and their Nazis…Russia and Stalin…The Khmer Rouge and Cambodia…Idi Amin Uganda…BushCo lied about weapons of mass destruction and Iraq is there for all the world to see as the bodies pile up. You are very correct about those who were complicit on both sides politically regarding the Bush years and the Iraqi War not just in the United States…a war that never needed to happen and the consequences of basing such actions on fear and lies not bad intelligence. The current president of the United States Barack Obama spoke out and voted against the Iraq War while the jingoism and questioning patriotism was raging and those who thought they were doing what was right some knowing the facts were wrong others intimidated and craven…people died because of their fear of being unpatriotic or willingness to strike out in retaliation and of course some did not care which country…scary to say the leasts.
