Tempest in a Teapot…while watching the grass movement grow.
Way back when America or the Thirteen Colonies was a part of the British Empire why Great Britain imposed a tax on tea…or did Great Britain lower the price of tea to maintain their monopoly of tea? A great read revolving around tea, taxes, representation, monopolies and the perception of freedom of that century and of course “The American Revolution” and an iconic expression “The Boston Tea Party” or “Tea Party” which can in some situations convey protest or revolution.
Some brilliant minds have decide what is needed is a twenty first century Boston Tea Party or just a Tea Party, with rallies and slogans and even an anthem…with music and lyrics to protest how in less than a hundred days of President Obama’s administration the United States of America has been destroyed. And don’t even mention the reign of King George Dubya Debacle Bush who was the Decider from 2000 to 2008…that never happen (?) it never happened!!…it never happened!!!
The grass roots movement of Tea Parties, funded by Republican millionaires and billionaires and media moguls as well as media talking head puppets who are touting that from shining sea to shining sea millions upon millions of protesters will be staging Boston Tea Party style protest, let the Tea Party grass movement revolution began…spontaneously.
Protests are as American as apple pie and so is criticizing political leaders of whatever political party is currently in office. The partisans in this historic movement have become known as Teabaggers…you might want to do a search of this appellation it suits them to a “tea” and may they get all the media coverage that they deserve…it is right up there with wingnuts, right wing evangelicals, loony-tunes, nut-jobs, holy-rollers, RepubliKlan Fascist and so many more descriptions of the extreme far right that have come to make up the blends of the tea of teabagging teabaggers, with a bag or loose leaf tea to fill the tempest in a tea pot.
Teabaggers are converging all over America with their teabags a dangling and some just stuffing their teapots with loose leaves of jingo jangle jingoism of no new taxes ranting déjà vu “no taxation without representation” ad hominem. Tea Bag Parties are the rage du jour of the enlightened cognoscente protesting the decrease in working class taxes and disgruntled with the increase of taxes for the rich…oxymoron moron revolutionists. Teabaggers will stage a “MAJOR” protest on April 15 (in the United States this is the deadline to file your personal income tax) to get attention about the socialistic or is it Marxist hum maybe fascist direction the United States of America is going and also that tax thingy too (?)…in reality it is the democratic process of the electorate that voted for change in 2008 a very Un-American concept which has them all riled up, the Teabaggers lost and losers hate to lose…most Teabbagers are Republicans of various tea blends who wished that the election of 2008 could have been stolen or rigged (rigged is the same thing as stolen just requires a little more effort than stealing) like the elections of 2000 and 2004. One election dubious (?) and the other nefarious (?) and the winners of both elections were Republicans and with dire results. Please remember 2000 to 2008 never happened!!…it never happened!!!
The media will cover the great Tea Bag Revolution of 2009 and no doubt millions upon millions of Teabaggers will stage “MAJOR” protests on a scale never before seen of epic proportions America and the world will be rocked and shocked. Teabaggers and Teabaggers alone are the only red white and blue Americans, drinking the tea and eating the free Marie Antoinette cake tossed to them by the Republican millionaires and billionaires, of course the Republican elites knowing that “trickle down” is what really is in the yellow tea and the Teabaggers are clueless…as always.

P.S. Exactly what are they protesting anyway? The best I can discern is they don’t like the government that was duly elected by a majority of the people. But isn’t this the way elections should be done in this Republic? They just don’t like Democrats as far as I can tell.

“Good to see the Colonies going back to Briton” too funny O’Faherty…I always thought that the “rebellion” was a bad business deal gone “awry” when you get into the particulars it was just greed for the coffers of the East India Company and the Crown and illegal smuggled tea making tons of money for Colonial entrepreneurs…of course just one part of the “rebellion.” The Colonist perhaps would have preferred to be part of The Empire…imagine Lord Washington or Sir Franklin Benjamin or being the Earl of Ohio…ha ha…anyway we have The Tea Bag Revolutionist of 2009…just a made up protests of “taxation without representation” or government spending (what government does not spend even the commie bastards spend and they use evil capitalist methods OMG commiecapitalist ) the fuss is a tempest in a tea pot manufactured by the big rich Republicans…what the hell the the little bottom feeder Republicans have a right to be manipulated marionettes and protest while gaging on Marie Antoinette cake. This is the most cogent analysis of “what’s going on” that has been published yet!
One very cool appellation is now astro-turfing, since the participants don’t know what they are protesting nor that the grass roots were created and funded out of whole plastic by certain republicans and re-named “spontaneous people’s demonstrations.” Each demo in a prominent city will have a prominent high profile right-wing speaker…so much for the roots.
Don’t usually write on these things, but essentially, yes, it is basically a protest against Obama and little to do with taxes. Some believe that Obama has set up detention camps and has already filmed earlier protestors to fill his camps. Obama is said to be eliminating the middle class and turning to socialism, but the Tea Bags can’t tell you what the is…
The consensus in liberal Northern California is that this could be dangerous… see also “Manifesto” of return of States Rights written by the governer or Texas … overturn the Tenth Amendment?

Thank you M…old cliché “reality bites” I can’t help but be embarrassed for the Teabaggers…they are so disingenuous and craven…why don’t they just say “There is a black guy in The White House” and use the “N” word instead of “black guy” and not desecrate The Boston Tea Party and putting on an exhibition of their ignorance of The Boston Tea Party and this is so telling they haven’t a clue they are just clueless…they have their own reality which is not reality at all…on the other hand it will diminish and erode the Republican party as it currently exist now…there are Republicans who do love America and don’t approve of what the current crop of Gopsters are doing which has nothing to do with a united America…Namaste.
