Dear Journal:
Politics has the air of theater and performance art and very surreal to the domestic audience or observers who are not citizens of the United States looking at and in on the performance and performers, politics is art of the theater of the absurd.
Candidates strut upon the stage and pander to that audience member, there and that one over there changing the script for the du jour moment. Today now in the United States a contest or race is being performed by candidates seeking an office that has been discredited by the current resident of the office of the President of the United States, a Harvard grad (elitist).
Her Royal Clintonette heir apparent of the Democratic Party assumed her nomination was in the bag, so to speak and being married to the former president of the United States (President Billy Zipper) also having been under sniper fire (wow very dangerous too, no snipers to be found) and opposing NAFTA (she was an active advocate), and toting a gun (ala Annie Oakley!) shooting and killing a little duck (maybe a Dick Chaney moment) as well as being a graduate of Yale (elitist) not to mention being a multi millionaire (everyone in America is a millionaire, the Clinton’s are rich big time, two incomes from interesting sources which have yielded big bucks, not all book bucks either) and out of touch being an active member of the Washington elite insiders club (John McCain and Her Royal Clintonette are buddies both deny being Washington insiders, I guess they phone in their work or are derelict and absent…where have they been?). By her own coronation she has claimed that she is the right candidate, the one and only choice of the people. Unwittingly or with full knowledge is the captain of her own swift boat, and has accused Barack Obama of being an elitist, maybe he is (?). One thing for sure Barack Obama is not a woman; it would be so interesting if both candidates where of the same gender, take your pick male or female or the same race, politicians for sure.
Barack Obama speaks too high brow for the average citizen of the United States according to Her Royal Clintonette and John McCain (the average American according to Her Royal Clintonette is too ignorant and are all blue collar stupid “the average American is above average” just my take on that, Joe and Josephine Blue Collar Average et al understand Barack Obama) and Her Royal Clintonette being just your average Yale graduate millionaire who speaks homey Yalie speak, just like the average citizen of the United States of America. Barack Obama is just your average elitist guy (biracial not black or white maybe not average, it is very difficult not to be either white or black no matter what is publicly said, race is still an ugly issue in the United States, where all “men are created equal” non gender specific, just an expression) growing up with a single mother and raised by OMG a female and somehow managed to graduate from Harvard (elitist) and to be running against a female who believes she is the right candidate right now and right here, because she is Hillary. If Her Royal Clintonette was running as Hillary Rodham with the hope and promises that she started out with and had divorced Bill, would she be acting the same part she is playing now saying the most inane things about her Democratic opponent. Women have been and are leaders of countries Margret Thatcher, Golda Meir, Michelle Bachelet Jeria, Angella Merkel and others, tough and focused thinking woman, I am not biased just wondering about Hillary’s real motives the peoples choice or self styled heir apparent and it is owed to Her Royal Clintonette the Presidency of the United States.
Am I suggesting that Barack Obama is the better candidate no, or demeaning Hillary Rodham Clinton no, too many times people or persons vote by gender, race and economic interests and cling to what is familiar or what they feel safe with (a Washington insider slinging mud the old fashion way at an opponent to get that opponent to come down to their level of politics)…it is the human condition and change scares the hell out of most people and some people become bitter disenfranchise and cling to what they feel safe with…yes they do.
Politics as art and visual performance imagery…there are the vagina votes and penis polls all taking a swipe at non issues, a distraction from real issues that need answers and action. Some woman will vote for Hillary because she is a female (and has a vagina) other women will think and say “Anybody but Hillary!” Some think Barack is too uppity (which side black or white?) and an “elitist” speaking too eloquently (how dare he! it just ain’t natural wink wink) and of course there is John McCain a rerun and extension of the George Bush manifestos no matter what John McCain may say now, if elected…a hundred years of twentieth century warfare in the era of the twenty first century which requires sadly to say a new approached to WAR or hopefully PEACE (one can hope for peace with the power to back up peace with the reality of weapons both lethal and non lethal). Research your candidate and vote with intelligence not your vagina or penis, race, religion or fear of change or just “cling” to the dead manifestos of Washington insiders the decider’s but use your brain….this time it really matters (!) and it did matter the last two elections, what a Dada performance it has been from the Bush League Theater of the Performing Arts, a nonfiction play of the absurd.
All the candidates are politicians each one with some questionable ethical skeletons, John McCain the Keating Five with lobbyist pals everywhere, denying the celebration of Martin Luther King Day in his home state, Hillary under sniper fire, Whitewater, a NAFTA advocate and gun toting duck killer, Barack with a pastor who uses outlandish outdated rhetoric, a real estate transaction yet to be fully politically exploited and being an elitist, all are flesh and blood and flawed. I want to hear their solutions not finger pointing to each other about inane middle school hair pulling and pinching, if they were Saints they would be dead….hum…ST. Ronald Reagan of the War Spending Ruining the Economy Republicans….St. Reagan must be turning over in his grave with what has been done to his Republican party, don’t forget he was a former Democrat and not an elitist just and average mediocre movie actor who became president of the United States.
Hubris best served cold with a dash of elitism and above average politicians not having a slapfest and panty knotting hair pulling of straws pinching each other over silly stupid antics of Ivy League covered alma mater graduates with and old grizzled AARP war veteran playing reruns of the last seven years…more like Bush League Dick’n Chaney Karl Roved the boat ashore crapola….well soon one Democrat candidate will be able to say “I survived!”
My journal my rant BFD only weenies would disagree demanding extra mustard on their buns (?)!!!!!!
World hunger is real, lots of people starving not caring about a hoax about a starving art performance of a dog starving, please follow the story to the source….you might be very surprised and chagrined with what you will find out….do your homework on everything before you bleed your heart out.

TY HS so much at stake and so much stupid rhetoric about “he said she said” artist too often only think “life is my art and art is my life” and blah blah some artist know politics is performance art and make artistic statements according to where ever they are on this planet and according to the politics relevant to their situations….the spinners spin the spin.
Harry Murray, 4 months ago
Spinners spin the spin … ain’t that the truth. I dunno monty I think that’s really the crux of the issue. Follow the story to the source … find the facts … maybe even find the truth? It’s very hard to find the facts or the truth when there are just so damn many versions being played out there. Truth and fact … my nuts still won’t budge … that’s one I know for sure. Maybe it’s the little truths you have to hold on tight to.

Harry hum yup both feet in my mouth with my boots on…most artist like pretty can’t blame them “just feels so good pretty” and no doubt this journal entry ain’t the right place very few will read it and so few will comment like I said they like “pretty! pretty! pretty!” ha ha hows the brass and that sink (?). Thanks for reading and making a comment….Harry such a cool name! Did you read about the starving dog performance art thing (?)...if you do follow the story to the very end just like politics all performance you have to follow stuff all the way to the source…art imitates life and life imitates art and politics is all local or loco…Peace to you Harry.

Well the “version of truth” I like is from a man I think has tried hard to do some good things since I was a kid. He’s not in the major parties and people may call him a spoiler. But I do think he has his facts mostly straight and just tells it like it is … I like Ralph!
montdragon in reply to Harry Murray’s comment, 4 months ago
Ha ha yup once them brass nuts get stuck they are stuck…finding the truth is tough but your gut tells you something and that little voice speaks loud and out loud….some disconnect since the Bush League has co-opted reality and art dear boy is just fractals OMG I had better shut up about fractals….kaleidescope art but you never know the Guggenheim may just put on a grand gala of fractal art…me I will just get my spray can and deface….I think I had better shut up now….spayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Ever since I read this post a word you used stuck in my mind … and you did even use it here … it was in a comment on my jourmal. OBAMANATION … That really is a handy one. You can go so many places with that and still be quite subtle. I wonder why anyone hasn’t called him the Obamanator yet? Certainly that will come. Then again did you notice how much the term … Clintonette … looks like … Cottonelle … yes the toilet tissue … strange coincidence?

Hmmmm there’s an “n’t” missing in my comment

Harry I had a blush of naïveté regarding the presidential candidates one a woman wow (is she really a woman? acting like a man and not being a fully emancipated woman) a AARP veteran (hope for the elderly, he is a card carrying member and cranky too) a biracial man (of course only in America “black” incorrect to say black…a white mother and black father so biracial for labeling purposes) and also Ralph (get your Nader gun out it shoots good and yup Ralph is an Arab-American of Lebanese descent) WHAT a line up!
Her Royal Clintonette would be an extension of William Jefferson Clinton no matter what she says and John McCain is a de facto George Bush, Barack Obama is just Barack Obama a biracial man and an Obamanation to some. I thought with my little knave naïveté brain…higher plain dialogue issues relevance, you know what a fiction writer might write about if you had this presidential candidate scenario in a novelette. Well dude they are only flesh and blood but who started the mudslinging and is slinging mud? Can you tell the difference in rhetoric from Her Royal Clintonette (more “clint” than nette) or John McCain both are swift boat captains (?). Is Barack Obama a saint…nope, I don’t think he is an elitist just because he graduated from Harvard (via Columbia) and knows how to use words correctly or incorrectly, unlike Hillary who graduated from Yale (via Wellesley) both Ivy League elitist schools (I don’t think either Harvard or Yale are elitist, now Berkley yes yes and hopefully for all time!) and poor John McCain a United States Naval Academy graduate no ivy there and it is elitist….ha ha what a brouhaha about nothing…all about vagina votes and penis polls….oh yeah Ralph via Princeton and a Harvard grad….Oy vey or salaam your mama….the average American did not attend these prestigious centers of higher learning….so dude are they from the perspective of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sixpack elitists or just from one elitists to another elitists…not elitists at all?
Well Harry, another little manifesto to go from me and it really don’t or doesn’t matter anyway….the world will end 2012…around December 21; Americans had better do their Christmas shopping early that year ha ha!!!!!!!!!! Peace Dude.

LOL so you are on with the Incans eh? ... or was that the Myans … or maybe the Toltecs … or the Aztecs. Oh they all look alike to me … ooops was I non PC on the PC here. Kinda like political candidates. OK so they don’t look a like … but they walk alike and they talk alike … you can loose your mind.
Arab American Lebanese? ... well … I’m still a donor and a volunteer. And he can and has spoken to and for middle America for quite some time now. OK I’ll admit he can bore you to tears at times and you don’t hear the cheers and claps when he is speaking … it just makes it easier to hear what he IS saying. He IS saying a lot … always has. He’s a complainer … He IS a critc … does he have a good plan? No worse than the rest. But he IS asking the questions. Who else is? We need the critics to remind the other two parties WE are not the sheep they insist on treating as.
Heck when everyone was hinting to Hillary to drop out just weeks back … Ralphie boy sent her a letter telling her to stay in and run … he said it was her constitutional right. More courtesy than they offer him or any other candidate outside of the duo-opoly. We hear an awful lot about constitutional rights that really don’t mean squat … OK … I have the right to wear short sleeve shirts … so what … lets start focusing on some of the more important ones. Lets go back further and even start to think about some of the reasons this country was started in the first place … true representation and a voice that should be heard by the people who claim the right to govern us.
When it comes right down to it we really are back in the same damn boat we started a Revolution to get out of. Read what Thomas Jefferson has to say about whose responsibility and right it is to do something about that.
Why am I really for Ralph? It’s very simple … we need another choice than the ones shoved down our throats every election by the two party system that has taken away our representative republic. And the only way we’ll get those alternatives is to help them out when they have the guts to throw their hat in the ring against impossible odds.
Then again it’s always nice just to have the right to complain. It’s American. No one can say I didn’t vote because there wasn’t really a choice at all and I can stand up and say right out loud … I didn’t vote for any of the bastards YOU elected! See the mess you got us into! ;o)
So … Ralphs chances are slim in November … there was a crazy old coot who got 26% of the popular vote one time and people said that was impossible. Does anyone realize just how big a miracle that was back then? And things are even tougher now for “alternative” candidates … it has to start somewhere.
Even if the world does end on 12/21/12 … at least we could say we gave it the ol’ college try. I’m not an Ivy Leaguer … I just chose to go to a better school. We sure as hell had a better Basketball team then all of them!

The 2012 thing was just one of my non sequiturs and is common to the Maya and others of that time, but like anything to do with Homo sapient (shush Harry we are all Homo…sapient) give or take a year and how it will end…not the world an era but if we bring this 2012 thing up just like “the starving art dog thing” people will whoop it up. As far as them looking all alike perhaps, give or take what costumes or regalia they wore just like a stupid suit and tie, yup men do look alike when festooned and costumed with a suit and tie…what the hell Harry they are all dead anyway ha ha….the Spaniards made sure of that and the subsequent Europeans did their best to finish off other indigenous people with the help of some of the indigenous population of that time…history is interesting (?) most Homo sapient are too lazy to investigate. Harry you think a tiny band of Europeans could conquer a vastly populated people like the Aztecs without the help from the enslaved Aztec conquered people of what we call Mexico…nope!
Ralph Nader is very intelligent informative and a true American citizen patriot, who does his homework and does not speak with the status quo forked tongue…and no way would he be elected…could you imagine OMG OMG….I can’t even articulate what I am thinking and would hope for….no two party system or dynasties of Bushites or Clintonette royalists sycophants. I feel the majority of Americans (Harry we are all Americans in this hemisphere…yup!) are sheep loving followers of the Pinocchio leaders leading them down the primrose lane….”baa baa sheer my woolly woolly wool….please” and then bitch about the sheering. I didn’t know Ralph had sent a letter to Her Royal Clintonette to keep on running, gee I wished I had sent her a letter to keep on running like to….Arkansas or go Whitewater rafting ha ha, I can’t help it I am picturing her shooting a duck (ala Dick Chaney) or ducking the sniper bullets somewhere in Bosnia (what a Daffy Duck like no one would check that out)…just picture her at three a.m. staring at the White House phone waiting for the “phone call” focus focus…”Bill zip that zipper ‘we’ have a crisis”…..?
Are there real issues…hell yeah the world may hate or be envious of the U.S. let them try and duplicate what we can do…they can’t and get very annoyed so they had better hope we get this hideous mess straightened out and suggest they stop buying Chinese products (they can’t and we can’t but we could if we had the will (?) they can’t they are trapped unless we make them a state or protectorate). Yes Harry you have the right (relative right) to wear whatever you want and do something or nothing if you choose to like just hang out.
I wish you had not brought up our Revolution….Harry it was just a bad business deal gone wrong “no taxation without representation” was a different definition then than it is now, check it out most citizens of that time would have remained loyal subjects of the British Crown…the British of that time were just way too greedy, cruel and callous to the low born Colonists(not all low born he he he)….too much to get into and the Revolutionists were so diverse, bible thumpers, deist, atheists and slave owners who wrote “all men are created equal”…with exceptions like Negroes free and slaves, Native Americans and woman of that time…we still have a problem with that “all men are created equal” thing…but I have to say I am so grateful to have been born a citizen of The United States of America warts and all. I bristle when non citizens criticize us not having a clue about us, they have no idea and yet so many want to come here with good reason….no matter what, we grow, atone and reinvent this “America.” My family has been in this hemisphere since the Spanish invasion under varies flags; I love this flag the best and what it stands for…the metaphor of red white and blue!
Boy what a load of my noise…ha ha Harry interesting little race going on here in this “grand place America.” A woman, a biracial guy and a cranky old elitist (he is the only elitist check out his pa and grand pa). But dude the play must go on and let’s see who is the last person standing and hope to God the right candidate is elected, if not it is those that stayed home and did not vote, like the last two elections, they are the ones responsible for the impeachable actions of the current administration…impeachment wow would that be divine justice….maybe not now but who knows what could happen once these bad hombres are out of office….you never know.
Harry thanks for reading this noise of mine I enjoy and have enjoyed the exchange, big time. Peace to you Harry and Namaste!

pretty pretty not for me your point of view my time I’ll see
montdragon in reply to flipteez’s comment, 3 months ago
My point of view is “Liberté Egalité Fraternité” I don’t see race gender or religion in politics….a generalization the majority of men and women tend to vote their fears and cling to the status quo of their tribes or groups and especially with what they are comfortable with….thanks for the view and review…Namaste.
